Real Life Applications of TDA
Some things that I have learned in television and movies that I could not apply in this class are to have proper lighting and the shots, to record a video without background interference, and to use props for videos. Why I chose these things is because they seem very professional and would have loved to incorporate them into a video, as shown in "Prototype Movie Project", when there was a whole bunch of wind in the background. Oh how annoying that was. With prop use we could have done some cool action scenes, such as dueling with poles(lightsabers) and maybe even a sports scene. Proper lighting is important because it can make or break a scene. If only we could have used those techniques in a video, they would have been at least 5 times better.
Final Reflection
Early in the year, I learned the importance of following the rule of thirds. You can see that in my first film, I didn't do this, especially when some of our interviewees were in the center of our shots. On my second project, I learned how to apply music in a certain scene. A scene that shows this well is in the film called "Prototype Movie Project","Real Movie Project", and "Final Movie Project"(there was no actual title because we could not think of one), when the bully arrived in the scene and was assaulting the nerd. The music was intense because the scene was quick and violent. Later in the year, I showed that I really had learned that concept well, since I showed this in other projects. One good example is from "The Amazing Spider-Man Spoof Trailer", when the music was in sync with the progression of the film by beat and rhythm. That was a fun project because it encompassed everything that I have learned into one video. I was very proud of its editing and of course the music because I chose it specifically for this project. Other things that I have learned are the many varieties of shots and angles, applying special effects, using both video and audio transitions, editing, teamwork/cooperation, how to act for videos, never to chew gum on camera, and to have confidence in your work. I was able to apply everything I learned from this class into other projects for different classes. Overall, this was an enjoyable class and made many friends who have a passion in the video industry. I only wish that I could take this class again for my enjoyment and also to have the chance to learn new things.

Jabberwocky
The special effect that we used the best was the lens flare because it was easy to master and manipulate. We were trying to convey the mood that all the evil things are over and that the days of the people are going to be bright. We were trying to present the idea that the river/town was safe and nothing bad will happen as long as the townspeople stick together.
Spider-Man Trailer
This video is a parody/spoof trailer about the Amazing Spider-Man. It stars Isaiah Sanchez as Peter Parker/Spidey and Ashley as Gwen Stacey.

Symphonic Action
1. The story we tried to envoke in this video is that a boy has a dream. At first it starts out calm and melancholy and then turns slightly happier. We chose to place some of the band clips in the video just to show who is playing. As the tension rises we showed more images abstractly to convey excitement. When the rhythm stops the music turned somber and sad. As the music builds into the same rhythm in the beginning it turns melancholy and decided to stop showing more images. 2. The sequence that I choose is from 1:15-1:45. We tried to show that the boy is dreaming of becoming a baseball player. There was no particular choice in color just that to make seem mysterious and full of wonder. Taking consideration of color I feel that we used soothing colors to show some peace and tranquility within the video. 3. I believe that at least 35% of the video is abstract. There was no consistency of color because we wanted to have all the colors of the spectrum, not just one. 4. What I remember of using abstract images in films is that it gets the audience thinking about a certain theme. 5. I learned that music has to properly interact with images because they need to work together to convey the right message towards the video 6. The most important contribution my partner made was consulting me in the arrangement of the images and clips. 7. The most important contribution I made was editing the video together and applying special effects.

Strobe Lights
To do this effect is both easy and dangerous (by dangerous I mean you can get a seizure while making this effect, well effective). You just drag the video and add the desired strobe effect to the clip. then you drop the folder down and click stylize and you will see the effect strobe light. Isaiah added two more strobe light effects to increase the overall strobe light effect. Then you see a way to change the color and Isaiah left it white but for the second one he changed it to a bright red because I felt it needed more emphasis on the strobing. Then he randomly played with the effects of the way to edit it and we got lucky with the effects and then boom! This video clip was transformed into a super crazy strobe light machine.
Effect Bend
In order to do the bend effect, first you have to drag a video clip into the time line, then you open the folder video effects, and you go down to the folder distort. Then you add bend to the video clip in your video timeline. After you do that, go to the project panel and change it so that the video will easily change the way the video bends and moves in the clip. After you change the effects you can put in keyframes to change the way that the bend affects the video and how crazy it moves. It's an enjoyable effect and we had fun playing with it.
